Zekiye Ulger
PSYCHOLOGIST
Zekiye is a registered psychologist with a strong passion for working with individuals from diverse backgrounds. She is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel understood, empowered, and able to explore their challenges openly.
Her work is grounded in evidence-based practice and guided by an integrative approach. She draws primarily on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support clients in managing emotional difficulties and enhancing overall well-being. Zekiye's goal is to help clients build healthier relationships, strengthen emotional resilience, and move meaningfully toward their personal goals.
Zekiye has experience working across the lifespan and has a particular interest in supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, perfectionism, stress, and burnout. She is LGBTQIA+ friendly and neurodivergent affirming, and strives to provide inclusive and culturally responsive care. She offers in-person and telehealth sessions on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Zekiye holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science from UNSW and a Master of Clinical Psychology from Western Sydney University. She is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). She remains committed to ongoing professional development and the continual expansion of her clinical skills and knowledge.
